Acesta a fost cel mai probabil "Chipul cel Sfant" care a fost arhetipul tuturor vernicles, adică imagini care arată fața lui Hristos. Distinctive ,caracteristici comune sunt:
fața lungă, nasul îngust, cu ochii deschiși, coafura specifica
firul de păr de pe frunte
parul ales în mijlocul bărbii
mustață subțire
umflarea pe partea dreaptă a feței.
